  • Why did you join SHERPA?

In fact, when you work at an inn or accommodation facility, you become aware of various issues such as operational inefficiency and wasteful spending, but the current state of the accommodation industry is that unless you are a manager, it is difficult to improve these issues. However, Sherpa is a company that allows you to directly work on issues that you can improve, and to make the facilities better and better.

  • Please tell us about your duties as a head office director. How do you govern your organization?

One of Sherpa’s main duties is to “improve and stabilize the management of direct management and clients,” so we value the “human resources” in the field, improve organizational strength, and create a strong organization where everyone can work together. The main task is to create. For this reason, we maintain daily communication to ensure that the right people are placed in the right places, and we conduct on-site management to ensure that each person’s individuality is utilized to the best of their abilities.

  • If you are a junior who aims to become a management executive, how can you become a head office officer?

Instead of working for a company because you are needed, always be the person the company needs. For this reason, it is essential for foreign nationals to have “language skills = Japanese language ability”, and I would like them to make their own efforts to improve their Japanese language skills if they have the time. Since you left your country and came to Japan, you should set firm goals and constantly educate yourself. I believe that if you put in the effort rather than acting to be appreciated, your efforts will definitely be rewarded.

Why did you join SHERPA?

I have gained experience in customer service, but I have always wanted to take on the challenge of marketing as I move forward in my career. When I looked at Sherpa’s website, I was attracted to their attitude of always taking on new challenges and the environment where I could be involved in a variety of fields, not just marketing, and I felt that it was a company that would help me expand my narrow horizons. My future challenge is to see how much I can contribute and how far I can demonstrate my abilities by making use of the experience I gained in the customer service industry at a company with such a challenger spirit, and I want to continue working towards that goal.

Please tell us about the operations of the Fukuoka head office. Also, will this job advance your career?

When I first joined the company, I was in charge of basic sales promotion work on hotel OTA sites, but now I am also involved in planning proposals for clients (product planning, sales planning, etc.) and advertising and promotion work on SNS. I am. I feel that this work has a great connection to my next career advancement. Sherpa has many employees with a wealth of knowledge and experience in various fields, and while absorbing specialized knowledge from these people, you can increase your own experience and discover possibilities that you were not aware of. Masu. I would like to gradually improve my skills until I can be entrusted with big projects.
